I enjoyed reading this quite a bit, and easily got lost in the story. Although I'm not Christian, I love the idea of someone who not only practices what they preach during the day, but fights for it in the dark as well. (Although I admit, if you aren't Christian, this might not be for you, the Christian theme is fairly heavy-handed, so if that's not your cup of tea, skip this one.) The story moves along smoothly, and the characters are well-developed. I really admired Ms V's kind heart and determination to follow her path of being a protector and warrior. If you're looking for a Christian fiction that will both uplift you and captivate you, then make sure to drop this on top of your TBR pile!

I could not put the book down when I started to read it. Amazing from the beginning to end.

This was a really good book. I had never heard of either author, but the blurb was intriguing, and I thought it was appropriate for the season of life in which I find myself. I found the characters likable and relatable, and I was invested in the outcome. Everything was not 100% clear for me, but that was okay. The audio book narrator did an excellent job of interpreting the story. If this were a series, I would seek out the other books/audio books. Great job!

This book is inspiring, well written and the ending was not what I expected. WOW! The story takes you through drama and everyday life and leaves you Praising Our God!
